There are quite a few versions available from this polish. Apparently China Glaze had problems with finding the exact same pigment again, because the colors vary quite a bit. I don’t know which version I have because I lost overview of original, re-released and re-re-released, but I absolutely love the color of my Flip Flop Fantasy.
Flip Flop Fantasy has an ok formula. I used three coats – at the moment when I took the picture last week, my nails were really, really long, so there was a lot of free edge to cover – because the formula is a bit thin.
I’ve actually shown you this polish before, you can check out my previous post here. I just re-read my earlier post (ok, honestly I just checked the pictures), and it reminded me of an article I read somewhere recently. The topic was something like “10 wardrobe staples you should throw away when you’re 30″. I’m not 30 yet, but it’s definitely happening in the near future, so I figured, I’d read it.
It basically said I shouldn’t own anything I own and only wear super-duper awesomely cut and overpriced jeans and silk blouses. It’s the ever-so-famous idea of having a wardrobe full of sustainable, elegant pieces that can be combined with everything and anything.
Unfortunately, as you can see in the above pictures, I’m nowhere close to following this (most probably remotely helpful) advice. Recently I invested in a pair of red wizard of Oz shoes and for my birthday I received shoes that have a angry/sad (depends on the angle) dog on them. Also, I bought myself these TOMS sunglasses with yellow mirrored glasses. I guess 30 comes soon enough. Today, the only thing I’m nostalgic about is my nail polish.
sunglasses: TOMS, shoes: Maison Martin Margiela for H&M, t-shirt: Benetton, skirt: H&M. bracelets: ApreciousZ (mustard silk), New One (silver/grey leather straps), Cajoy (leather cuff; PR Sample).
