Hey everyone! Long time no see, huh? I put my blogsale on hold for a bit, had to reorganize. I’ll open it up again as soon as I can, there’s still plenty left – I’ll announce the re-opening here.
Anyhow, today I’m showing you another outfit that I wore in late summer. I wore the same outfit a couple of days ago, granted then I exchanged the flats for boots, but boy, this has been a warm winter!
The main theme here is: How do things I imagine I like actually work out for me. Look: I decided that it was about time headbands came back into fashion. So I went and bought a couple of thin but colorful headbands.
While I strongly believe that headbands can be cool, their function remain a mystery to me. I have hair falling in my face independently of me wearing headbands. Also, I think this particular one looks utter shit on me and I’m fairly convinced that I’m loved because so many people didn’t tell me.
Next up on “does this work for me?” is this pair of pink pants.I think that light pastel colors make everyone look fatter than they are, but it’s not so bad that I wouldn’t wear them. I decided that they can stay – but: are these supposed to be too short? They end above my ankles, am I just too tall?!
On to the polish, finally, you’ll be thinking. First she’s quiet for weeks and then she can’t stop talking. Sheeeesh…
Well, I was wearing OCC Wasabi (the green) and OCC Anime (neon pink!) and I decided to add some more or less dot art onto it. On the green nails I added dots using JulieG Rock Candy, a greenish blue textured polish. On the pink nails I added dots using nails inc. princess arcade, which is basically a pink glitter bomb.
I had OCC Wasabi on my wishlist for about ever. Wearing it, I was less convinced – the formula is fabulous, but I somehow didn’t click with the color. Anime, the one I was less excited about, is absolutely gorgeous though.
So, what do you think? Headbands? Pink pants?
