Would you have ever believed that I made it through my summer posts? (Well, I almost have) Independently of my “work load” I want to share a fall post with you today.
As I spend a lot of my waking hours in the office, I can’t help restore our economy by spending all my money on useless things, such as extreme amounts of clothes. You have, therefore, no idea how fond I am of online shopping.
Imagine that, especially in winter, I barely get to enjoy the light of day (it’s a given when the sun’s only up a couple of hours a day), and additionally, when I leave the office, all the shops are closed! I don’t want to start a ranting monologue about Austria’s unfriendly opening times of shops, in particular grocery stores, but let me just state that they are horrible for people who have a job.
Long story short, I recently (recently being a term open to a lot of interpretation) purchased a blouse from J.Crew, online of course. When it arrived, I was fascinated how off a color description can be and how off the color on the picture on a website of a company such as J.Crew can be.
Hence I ended up with a salmon-just-came-back-from-vacation-in-Hawaii colored blouse. I never wore anything like it and I don’t think it fits me best ever, but with matching nails, I dig it.
Anyhow, I figured you might want to see a close-up of my manicure. So here’s my gradient usisng Illamasqua Lament (base color) and butter LONDON Tart with a heart (iridiscent glitter).
I’m even wearing matching lipstick. I used a combination of a super girly pink OCC lip tar with a NARS pencil (satin matte, color: Lodhi).
If you’re interested in what I wear: coat H&M, skirt: Rena Lange, blouse: J.Crew, shoes: Humanic, cardigan: H&M.
