Every once in a while I decide to cut my nails down. When I say, cut them down, I mean brutally chop them off (mostly inspired by actually chopping of my nail while making dinner). On teensy short nails, I decide to wear bright colors, preferably with glitter or stamped.
So my choice for Lime Crime Peaches Love Cream seems obvious. The same goes for a stamping design using Barry M Shocking Pink (one of these polishes that change color with topcoat).
I picked a paisley print I’ve been meaning to try out for so long – it’s really pretty, but the combination of Shocking pink (actually, it’s a purple, I’m wearing topcoat) and Peaches Love Cream is a bit off.
The whole nail design basically is what I adore Sammy from The Nailasaurus for. She alsways wears the most cute nail designs and she manages to pairs colors that I never thought would look good together. I guess I still need quite som practise :)
Luckily, no need to worry, as I recently ordered this “voile pop-over”, a.k.a. blouse from J.Crew. The color description was a bit off, and I expected this shirt to be a bit less bright and a bit less orange, but it is a fun addition to my wardrobe I think.
In fact, I think the blouse is a lot of fun. I’m fully aware of the fact that it makes my skin color even less apparent than it already is, but so what. Aren’t we only young once, and isn’t live to learn how to hide your mistakes?
Blouse from J.Crew, skirt: inherited from my mum, shoes: Geox.
