When I walked into a Dutch Douglas while I was in Amsterdam for Queensday, I knew already I would buy some W.I.C. by Herôme polishes. I have only had good experience with them, and I wanted to add more colors to my collection. Luckily, they were also half off, so the damage to my orange beer drinking fund wasn’t that bad.
Among others, I picked W.I.C. by Herôme Cairo. The color is difficult to describe: It’s a nude pink creme with bronze microglitters that show up as sort of a shimmer. I decided to to another dabbed on gradient with a england She walks in beauty, which is an amazing glitter.
My outfit for that day was rather simple: black suit and white blouse. I just can’t leave it at purely black and white, so I had to wear red shoes. The pants are from H&M, blazer Stefanel, shoes Chatelles Paris, the blouse is custom-made.
I’m also wearing a new lipgloss* that I received from Guerlain. I’m not the biggest lipgloss-wearer, but I surely love them when they’re not sticky and clear (The rest of my face is Inglot all over, except the mascara, that’s Chanel).
This lipgloss is called Prune Zip. To be honest, Guerlain wasn’t necessarily on my radar before, but then I don’t have too much make-up on my radar anyhow. I tend to buy like a farmer eats (always the same, according to an Austrian saying). I must say however, that this lipgloss is now a constant companion and rides along in my purse. The color is not dark plum, but lighter, which makes it a great every-day color. Also, you can see it holds up perfectly, even if one makes faces…!
*Thanks to Guerlain for sending me this product for my honest review.
