Good Monday Morning everyone! Today I want to show you a new lynnderella polish that I received from Norway Nails.
Apart from my obvious adoration of glitters, I have had quite a nail polish crush on lynnderella. It turned out to be a tidal thing – sometimes less, sometimes a feeling of “I need this polish” came crushing onto me – but finally us Europeans have the chance to buy lynnderella from a European stockist. Which means less hazzle, less shipping time and no crazy waiting in front of the computer in the middle of the night so one wouldn’t miss a restock (I honestly never did that, but I’ve heard stories…!).
On the promo pictures, the newer “Talismans and Birthstones” collection didn’t really capture my immediate interest. But when I held Karma Carnelian in my hands, I was smitten! A mix of red glitters is generic, but a mix of red glitters of all kinds of shapes and shades (I saw glistening orange and rich wine red, and all shades inbetween) made me want to put it on immediately.
I already had Chanel Gold Fiction on my nails (I’d call that a vintage Chanel! it deserves an extra post!), and I figured it would go great together with Karma Carnelian. Metal & Gemstones - basically wearing a ring on my nails. L.O.V.E. the mix of gold and red, and especially the gradient of this sparkly red glitter!
Red nails are classy in my head, and that means it’ll work best with dark blue. My brain follows some very weird code of mix-and-match, and I do my best to break out of these thought patterns, but when it is early morning, I’m more of a follower and less of a leader in fashion choices.
So I paired the nails with my lovely red slippers from Chatelles, a red silk bangle from New One, a blue dress from Mango (I lost the button when I was snuggling with the mechanical digger) and a cardigan from Montego.
What do you think about the red and gold mix? Do you like lynnderella polishes?
Thank you to Norway Nails for sending me this beauty. Views expressed are my own.
