Illamasqua vs Chanel

You know about my love for pink, and I think by now you also know about my love for Illamasqua. They just make great polishes. So although I don’t go head over heels when I see a blue nail polish, this one caught my eye: Illamasqua Phallic. It is a dark blackened navy blue with a lot of shimmer. It is actually very dark, but not so dark it will look black.

I’m guessing you’ll like Phallic. It is a very elegant dark blue indeed! When I put it on I thought it might be a dupe for Chanel Blue Satin, which is also a blackened dark blue.

It is very close, isn’t it? The only difference you can see is that Phallic has more sparkle and is just a tad lighter. But to be very honest, if I had known, I’d have let the Blue Satin be, as Chanel is still more expensive than Illamasqua!
